No Sh*t! There Is Actually A Museum For The Canned Cooked Meat, SPAM!

Eighty years. That’s how long SPAM, the canned cooked meat made by Hormel Foods Corporation (not unsolicited emails or text messages), has been around. Well, officially, that is. In actual fact, SPAM was invented in the 1920s and it wasn’t until 1937 that it was introduced to consumers. Since then, it has won the world over. At least it is for the United States and to some extend, South Korea which, apparently, is largest market for SPAM products outside of the U.S. While some may not fancy the taste of canned cooked meat, for lovers, there is something to rejoice about. No, we are not talking about all-you-can-eat SPAM buffet; instead, there’s a place to celebrate your love for the canned food and it is a museum dedicated to SPAM. Yup. SPAM Museum is a thing! This Cafe Racer Is Powered By A Turbo Diesel Engine And Fueled By Bacon

what do you get when you put motorcycle, turbo, diesel and bacon together? nothing. probably a whole lot mess, if you ask for, but in the case of Hormel Foods, the result is this bike, dubbed Black Label Bacon Bike, you see here. if turbo diesel powered bike isn’t a rarity already, i am sure it being bacon-fueled is. it all started when Hormel Foods tasked advertising agency BBDO Minneapolis to create a campaign to promote the company’s Black Label Bacon. and so the idea of a custom bike, a diesel-powered one, naturally, fueled by fat-derived biofuel dropped into the boardroom and was snapped up by Hormel. and the rest, as they said, was history.
