Huawei Unveiled Huawei Watch GT And Huawei Band 3 Pro

Before Samsung and LG, Huawei was already making smartwatch that actually looks good, and the new Huawei Watch GT is no exception this time. The design itself pretty much speaks for itself, though it is nothing radical. Anywho, perhaps more importantly to me is, it is not small. The watch has a quite sizeable case of 46.5 mm and while so, it is does not look rough – thanks in part to the 10.6 mm thickness. And it weighs mere 46g without strap. Huawei Mate 20 Series Gets New Kirin Chip And Matrix Camera System

As expected, Huawei has taken the wrap off the new Mate devices at a London event on October 16. With the new Mate, the series have growth into not two, not three, but four Mate devices. It includes Huawei Mate 20, Huawei Mate 20 Pro, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS, and a new addition to the Mate family, the Huawei Mate 20 X. The new Mate series is also the first Huawei devices to sport the new 7 nm Kirin system-on-chip, the Kirin 980, which is backed by Cortex-A76-based processor and Mali G76 GPU. Kirin 980, btw, is the first smartphone in the market to feature Dual-NPU which will grant the chip “higher On-Device AI processing capability.” Continue reading Huawei Mate 20 Series Gets New Kirin Chip And Matrix Camera System

Honor Unveiled Honor 8X With “Top-end Configuration” For 250 Euro

It is comforting to know that among the increasing smartphone prices, there are still companies pushing out affordable devices that are not too shabby in both specifications and the look. The Honor 8X you see here is one such devices that really should have Superman’s ’S’ emblem on it because, ’S’ in the fictional Kryptonian’s world is the symbol of ‘hope’ and 8X gives us hope that we do not need to sacrifice our kidneys for a device that will go outdated in a year or two time. Huawei Caught Faking Smartphone Photo, But I think There’s More To It…

That’s it! This confirms my suspicion I have had all these while. I am talking how photos supposedly taken by smartphones used to promote the handsets are sometimes too high-quality to be true. Or at least, my suspicion is confirmed if this current viral news on how Huawei was caught faking smartphone photo by shooting with a DSLR as opposed to the actual phone that it is trying to sell and in this case, it was the new Huawei Nova 3/Nova 3i. Too Good Not To Share: Huawei P20 Pro Price Dropped On Amazon

One “influential” figure in stateside, who is also an entertaining conspiracy theorist, has tried to stop this make of device being sold in the U.S. But fret not because, there is always Amazon to depend on. Not only can you get Huawei’s newest flagship, Huawei P20 Pro, on Amazon unlocked, but apparently, it is now at its lowest price ever at $794.98. The original sticker, without contract (not that you can get it with contract in the U.S.) was a whopping $1,100. Continue reading Too Good Not To Share: Huawei P20 Pro Price Dropped On Amazon

Too Good Not To Share: Huawei Mate 10 Pro At $250 Off On Amazon

The main problem with newest flagship smartphones is obvious: their prices are plain ridiculous. Then again, that’s the price to pay for wanting the latest in processing power. Not in the case of Huawei though. The handset maker’s flagship from last year, the Huawei Mate 10 Pro, still remain relevant today and it will be for months to come. At least it will be as far as processor is concerned. So, if you can’t afford the newest P20 Pro, getting an “older” flagship sounds like logical move and today, Huawei is making it even more logical because, an unlocked Huawei Mate 10 Pro with 6 GB RAM/128 GB storage on Amazon is going at $250 less, at $549.99. Honor Collaborating With Rolls-Royce On A Special Edition Smartphone

Well, what do you know? Huawei sub brand Honor is reportedly collaborating with British luxury car marque Rolls-Royce to release a special edition Honor Note 10 smartphone. Before you get all too wet about it, it probably will not have a pop-up Spirit of Ecstasy on it – if that’s what you were thinking. Regardless, a lone leak image is all it takes to let in on what to expect of this “Rolls-Royce” Phone: a shiny silver back cover as classy as the automaker itself. Huawei Nova 3i Is A Budget Smartphone With Flagship Cameras

It is a norm for handset maker to put all its love and affection on flagship devices, but not in the case of Huawei. The Chinese handset maker has been equally devoted to its non-flagships. Case in point: the Huawei Nova 3i – the latest addition to the brand’s Nova series, the Nova 3i, – that was rolled out on the July 18. 3i joins the 3 and the 3e, and shares much of the two’s aesthetic, including the disturbing, controversial trend: the notch, made popular by iPhone X. Some Huawei Phones To Get Graphics Boost With An August Update

Good news, Huawei smartphone users! Some of the more recent handsets, such as the Huawei P20, Mate 10 and Mate RS – just to name a few, will be receiving a free GPU Turbo update that will give the handsets a significant graphical boosts. We do not know how it works, but according to Huawei, the GPU Turbo is akin to how turbocharger in a car works (presumably, a boost that kicks in only upon the demanded by an app, or certain threshold), which will “able to accelerate performance by optimizing system utilization of software and hardware resources.Continue reading Some Huawei Phones To Get Graphics Boost With An August Update

Huawei P20 Pro Is Like An iPhone X With A Three Camera System

Behold the future of smartphone is… iPhone X lookalike with the notch. Yup. Following Vivo, ASUS and the lot, Huawei is in it too with its new P20 and P20 Pro smartphones. Oh mine. I wonder how many acid tongue Android loyalists have spewed hate on the notch, but look what we have here. Notch on almost all the new phones we have seen thus far. On the bright side, Android users who loathe Apple’s autocratic approach with their OS can enjoy similar aesthetic with more liberty on the OS aspect. I guess its a win? Maybe.
