If you haven’t already heard, the much anticipated Huawei’s blend of operating system turns out to be one running a TV. At least it is for now. The TV, Honor Vision Smart TV, is also the recipient of Huawei-developed “intelligent” chipsets, which includes Honghu 818 Intelligent Display Chipset, an AI Camera NPU chip[set and a […]
Honor, the sub-brand of Huawei that is supposedly geared towards the younger market segment, has just revealed a new smartwatch, Honor MagicWatch 2. We checked. Honor MagicWatch 2 is not yet a thing in China and that’s quite unusual, given that it is usually China first, then the rest of the world.
Save for Apple and maybe Samsung, companies are not serious about tablets as much as they do with smartphones. Smartphones get all the good stuff. Slim bezel, sleek design and all, but tablets? They have none it.
As much as we love the design and sound of Devialet speakers, we are put off by the prices. Seriously, not many consumers will be willing to part with four figures for a wireless speaker. Especially given the alternatives we have today.
The ban on Huawei by the U.S. has no doubt impacted the China’s telecommunication giant’s business, but thankfully, one product that’s not affected the ban is this: smartwatch. HiSilicon, Huawei’s chip-making arm, has taken to IFA 2019 in Berlin, Germany, to unveil its next-generation System on Chip (Soc), the Kirin 990 Series which is offered in two flavors: a ‘standard’ version and a 5G variant. The latter is staking claim as the world’s first flagship 5G SoC powered with 7 nm+ EUV. It […]
The U.S. ban on Huawei and its products is still looming and that means, any new device the China telecommunication giant/handset maker releases globally in future will not have Google services. However, Huawei appeared to have temporary circumvent the ban by re-releasing a new version of its 2019 flagship, the Huawei P30 Pro with, wait […]
By now, users of Huawei’s and Honor’s products must be panicking because of the Android ban pulled by Google on the demand of the U.S. government. It sad that it has to come to this. All this trade war bullshit is getting out of hand. But for Huawei and its sub brand, Honor, it is […]
