Huawei Flagships P10 And P10+ Have Leica Camera On The Front Too

And when thought handset maker like Huawei is content with awesome Leica-engineered main camera, the China communication titan have its newest flagships, P10 and P10+, equipped with a Leica front camera – and that’s addition to the Leica Dual rear shooter. How well those performance remains to be seen, but theoretically, it should be pretty up there and a brilliant news for Leica fans, maybe? Anywho, Hybrid Zoom is in order too and so is 3D facial detection. Huawei is really banging on the duo. The handset giant also go to length to coat the devices with specially selected Pantone colors co-created with Pantone Color Institute: Pantone Greenery and Dazzling Blue, which the company described as “captivating deep blue shade.” Tasty. Huawei Watch 2 Has 4G Support That Lets You Use The Watch As A Phone

Major tech trade show is heaven on earth for tech enthusiasts, but it can be a pretty brutal event for manufacturers. Why? If a brand launches something new, it’d make sure the company are all geared up in the marketing aspect, or else it risks being drown out by a whole other drool-worthy tech. Speaking of which, the Huawei Watch 2 was one of the many gadgets announced during the early part of this year’s MWC 2017 in Barcelona, but for some reasons, we feel that it is not getting the love it deserves. In any case, if you haven’t heard, yes, the 2-year-old Huawei Watch finally has a successor and it is called, well, Huawei Watch 2, naturally. Porsche Design Touched Huawei Mate 9 Cost A Cool $1,480

Once a upon a time, you can’t be called a true business person if you didn’t have a Blackberry. Blackberry was, at its peak, the name for on-the-go business-centric communication and so, it only made sense than that if Porsche Design want to pick a communication device to touch, Blackberry would be it. But the hey days are well over for the Canadian tech firm and with official words that it won’t making smartphone anymore, it only make sense for Porsche Design to look for an alternative to fill PD smartphone void and look they sure did, finding the next PD-touch to be Huawei Mate 9, a device that runs on the almost infallible Android Operating System. Huawei MateBook 2-in-1 Convertible Tablet Opens For Pre-order

First announced at this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Huawei MateBook 2-in-1 Convertible Tablet is now open for pre-order through Microsoft Stores and Microsoft web store. Amazon and Newegg will also be retailing the device starting mid-July. So what’s the MateBook? I don’t know. You be the judge. On one hand, it is appears to be tablet, though the price clearly says it isn’t (more on that later), and on the other, Huawei can’t help but to refer it to as a ‘PC’. We would like to think of it as a Windows slate but with the choice of using a keyboard (that doubles as a cover) if you really need to type furiously with more ease. Huawei Rocks The Smartphone World With Leica Dual Lens Camera Collab

One of the most ‘work on’ feature by China handset makers is probably the onboard camera and so, it is hardly surprising that heavy hitter like Huawei will be ignoring the imaging department. Ignore they sure did not. As a matter of fact, the Chinese telecommunication device maker has partnered with Leica Camera AG to “co-engineered” the P9 and P9 Plus smartphone that will take “photography to the next level.” Calling it a “groundbreaking moment,” the device was announced at London’s Battersea Evolution where the trailer of the Huawei P9 TV commercial starring Henry Cavill and Scarlett Johansson was screened. Huawei Unveils Smartwatch For Ladies, Premium Audio Tablet, Gold Nexus 6P And Mate 8 For The World

When the world is consumed with gadgets that look pretty much like one another, you can either push your product out and hope for the best, or you could go the premium route. The latter is what Huawei did. During this year’s CES, the China communication equipment maker unveils three premium consumer devices, namely a tablet with Harman/Kardon audio (MediaPad M2 10.0 tablet), Swarovski-collab Huawei Watch for Lady, and a gold version of Nexus 6P, a handset jointly made by Huawei and Google. At the show, it also officially introduce the Mate 8, which was previously launched in China, to the rest of the world. As far as the Mate 8 is concerned, it is what we have learned, just that it is now ready for the global market. However, details are still lacking with regards to where it will be headed, when and how much. Surprised. Google This Year Has Not One, But Two Nexus Phones

Good news, Android purists. This year, Google has not one but two Nexus phones to entice you. Yup. You heard that right, two handsets under the Nexus namesake – a first for Google. If you are like me who were turned off by the gigantic Motorola iteration introduced last year, Google has a smaller alternative for you, in addition to a slightly smaller-than-the-Nexus-6 version. Two makers were roped in for this year’s handsets. The larger Nexus 6P is by Chinese communication equipment maker, Huawei, while the smaller Nexus, known as Nexus 5X, is by LG. Expect to find the reversible Type-C port on both handsets, along with premium features like fingerprint sensor, 4K capable 12.3MP imaging sensor boasting 1.55µm pixels and of course, the latest Android OS, Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Sounds like yummy, doesn’t it? Continue reading Surprised. Google This Year Has Not One, But Two Nexus Phones

Huawei’s First Smartwatch, Huawei Watch, is Probably the Least Geekiest Wearable of All

Chinese communication giant, Huawei has dabbled in many things and now, it can add smartwatch to the firm’s portfolio. The Huawei Watch, as it is called, is the outfit’s first smartwatch to join its growing line of wearables. Announced at the Mobile World Congress (but of course), the Huawei Watch is a non-geeky take of a tech piece conceived by a team of experienced watch designers. Much like LG Watch R and Urbane, Huawei Watch takes on a round case design, along with a “sparkling” 1.4-inch circular AMOLED display, offering 400 x 400 pixels and 286ppi. Furthermore, it (the display) boasts a super bright 10,000:1 contrast ratio, which Huawei claims as the most vibrant Android Wear in the market.
