An Italian artist by the name of Michael Moccia has done some beautiful doodles on rather unusual materials. Normally, we will choose to draw on plain white papers of at least photocopier-grade type, if not actual drawing papers, but Moccia unleashed his creativity on everyday shopping receipts. Yes. You heard that right. Receipts. You know. Those thermal papers (well, usually they are) printed with a list of your purchase along with the prices and stuff? Yeah, those. A strange choice indeed, but the presence of the numbers and words somehow made the art even more alluring.
Moccia doodled a variety of things, ranging from unassuming stalk of rose to portraits to even replicating famous artworks like Michaelangelo, Rene Magritte, Edvard Munch and more. The results are doodles like you have never seen them before. Especially those of famous artworks. They look particularly unique on these otherwise useless pieces of environment-destroying paper. Go ahead and steal a few looks after the break.
