Designer Dreamed Up A Gorgeous Bike Of The Future And It Is Lengthy!

We don’t dismiss the possibility that future motorcycles could hover, but for practicality’s sake, bikes of the future could look something more like the one in Tron – the reboot version, that is, or it could be look something like this, the Vultran Type 3 Concept Electric Motorcycle dreamed up by Orlando, Florida-based creative mind Lee Rosario. One feature, if you could call it a feature, that draws us to the Vultran Type 3 is how ridiculously long it is and also the fact that being an obvious motorcycle of the future, it still has graphics of flame decorating it. Ok, the latter is a joke. Continue reading Designer Dreamed Up A Gorgeous Bike Of The Future And It Is Lengthy!

Check Out This Zagato Designed Motorcycle For MV Agusta

If there’s one thing motorcycle industry is need of, it would be a radical change in design. At this point, it seems like independent bike makers are the ones taking the lead to challenge the status quo in motorcycle design, but not established bike makers. It is strange phenomena, considering established bike manufacturers are the ones with the financial muscle. However, we may be seeing a shift here, starting with Italian motorcycle manufacturer MV Agusta upcoming two-wheeler, the F4Z, which will be officially unveil in September 4, 2016. Never Ridden 2014 Lotus C-01 Motorcycle To Go Under The Hammer

Remember that super sexy Lotus C-01 motorcycle that’s not built by Lotus? Only 100 units of this fine example were built, which makes it one of the super rare two-wheeler, if not the rarest, in the world. If you weren’t one of the hundred lucky folks who managed to secure one, here’s another golden opportunity for you to do so; only this time, it is going to be both easy and difficult to obtain. In a way, it is easy to obtain because this particular immaculate example, which apparently has never been ridden, will be going under the hammer at Monterey Car Week. Confederate G2 P51 Combat Fighter – A Stunning Motorcycle of Billet Aluminum and Carbon Fiber

You may ask: ‘is this even a motorcycle?’ Well, it is obviously a motorcycle and an extremely radical one to say the least. Conjured up by Alabama-based motorcycle builder Confederate, the G2 P51 Combat Fighter is no doubt a sight to behold. This second-generation Combat Fighter stays true to the ethos of the original Combat Fighter, but now sports the new CX4 architecture that composes entirely of a lighter, more durable 6061-T6 aerospace billet aluminum construction – from the frame right down to the engine block and heads and is push forth by a drag-derived, air-cooled 2,163cc V-twin motor that pumps out 200 horsepower and an astounding 180 lb-ft (243.7 Nm) of torque – thanks to an all-new head design and induction system. Project 7MC Is What Happens If Jaguar Were To Make A Sports Bike

There is no telling if British luxury car maker Jaguar will ever make motorcycles, but if it did, we sure hope it will look like the Jaguar Project 7MC, a concept bike dreamed up by Hungary-based designer Tamás Jakus (of Jakusa Design). Jakus is no stranger to conceptualizing dream rides, be it two- or four-wheeled, but Project 7MC is the one that caught our attention. Not just because it is sleek ride. Not because it is a ‘what if Jag made a bike’ concept, but it is also a synthesization of two of the UK’s most iconic marques: Jaguar and Triumph. Most importantly, it looks like a lovechild of the Jaguar F-Type Project 7 and a Triumph Speed Triple. Continue reading Project 7MC Is What Happens If Jaguar Were To Make A Sports Bike

If Batman Was Real, The Ronin 47 Would Be His Bike of Choice

first founded in 1983 by former Harley-Davidson engineer Erik Buell, Wisconsin-based Buell Motorcycle was soon acquired by Harley-Davidson in 2003 after a 49 percent acquisition in 1993. between its founding and cessation, it has produced a number of models, but the most notable among them was the 1125 made between 2009 and 2010, which was a major departure from Buell’s design ‘tradition’ mainly because it was based on Harley-Davidson Sportster and it was a sport bike. i am not sure if we should grant the Buell 1125 the cult status, but it is, after all, the last model to be made before things turn really bad and have to bid the world adieu. Supercharged Kawasaki Ninja H2R Looks Like a Bat Out of Hell

if you think you know every damn thing about Kawasaki motorbikes. think again. the Japanese bike maker’s latest Ninja, H2R, is decidedly very “un-Kawasaki”, much less a Ninja, and looks like a bike pulled straight from the pages of sci-fi script and it has wings too, well, winglets, actually. its supercharged in-line four motor is built around a trellis frame and as the model hinted, it is a track homologation of the ‘lesser’ street version, H2. as you would have expected from a bike bred for the track, it has fair amount carbon fiber in areas like the body, the dual-intake air duct that leads to the supercharger (even the air duct!) and possibly more parts then we have read. it has a single-sided swingarm and as a hint that it could be a bullet on the race track, it has a pair of winglets, flanking the sharp front end, that works to put some downforce at extreme speed. Midual’s First Bike Has a Fuel Tank Loaded With Gauges, Looks Almost Steampunk-ish

French bike maker Midual’s first motorcycle, Type 1, definitely had us at hello. well, the thing that draws us to it is not the sports bike-ish or roadster look (though that has something to do with it too), but it is the enormous fuel tank that’s peppered with gauges. granted with a chock-full of analog gauges with information that might be of an interested to you atop of a fuel tank isn’t the most brilliant idea, we still dig the idea because it just look super cool. call us superficial for all you want. it is probably the coolest thing any bike maker has done thus far and something you don’t see in a production bike. it is powered by a liquid-cooled 1,036cc flat-twin engine, developing a respectable 104 horsepower and turns out 73 lb-ft (100 Nm) of torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox and clad in an aluminum monocoque frame that’s also home to the said fuel tank. Confederate X132 Hellcat Speedster – The Same Record Breaking Bike, Only More Handsome

if the record breaking Confederate X132 Hellcat Combat is a soldier in combat fatigue, then the Confederate X132 Hellcat Speedster would be the same soldier in tuxedo. obviously understanding combat look isn’t for everyone (we are not the ‘everyone’, btw), motorcycle maker Confederate now offers those who wanted a more elegant ride, and with pretty penny to drop, the Speedster. just take it as the X132 Hellcat had a change of dress and what’s nested within the frame is still the same 2,163cc X132 56-DEG Fuel Injected V-Twin engine pumping out a breathtaking 121 horsepower and 140 lb-ft of torque, which will still take you to the same exhilarating speed. BMW Presents A Two-wheel Roadster At Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este

a year ago, BMW Motorcycle presented to the world the heavily retro-styled, boxer engine-powered Concept Ninety at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este to mark the Munich motorcycle maker’s 90 years in business, but that was a concept that will remain as a concept, well, at least thus far. however, at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, it pulls the wraps off yet another concept which may just be the foundation of future generations of boxer-powered roadsters. simply referred to as the BMW Concept Roadster, it has an obvious contemporary appeal that borders between today’s design and the future’s, which we take it as a probable look into what BMW has to offer to bike enthusiasts in future as far as boxer engine-driven two wheelers are concerned.
