The annual Consumer Electronics Show is not just about consumer electronics. Over the last decade or so, automobiles loaded with tech have been showcased at the event, and in recent years, motorcycles and other mobility devices have joined the biggest CE event of the year. One such motorcycle company that has shown up in Las Vegas is Verge Motorcycles.

Verge Motorcycles have just jazzed up their flagship electric superbike, the TS Ultra, giving “superhero vision.” Now, the bike has six cameras and snazzy high-res front and rear radars. Fret not if you already have one on order because your order will be getting new features too.

In November, Verge showed off their Starmatter software, which was like a tech cocktail of OTA updates, sensor tech, AI, and a human-friendly interface. Now, they’ve added Starmatter Vision to this mix, making their bikes the first in the world with such advanced safety stuff. It’s like having a bike with brains and also helps you ride safer with a low center of gravity for better control.

Marko Lehtimäki, the tech wizard at Verge, says the TS Ultra is practically a ‘whisperer’ for riders, using its new eyes (cameras) and brainy software to enhance safety and awareness.

Autonomous driving in cars? Been there, done that. But on two wheels, it’s a whole different game. Verge knows the challenges and is using tech to make riding not just fun, but safer. The bike’s smart enough to tell you about cars sneaking up from behind or lane changes.

And the display got an upgrade too. The tank-top display is now bigger and better. Plus, the new Starmatter Dash is like the coolest interactive dashboard, making everything about riding clearer and more intuitive. It even shows you what’s behind when you hit the turn signal.

Beyond that, the TS Ultra is pretty much the performance electric two-wheeler. This means it packs 150 kW (201 HP) and 1,200 Nm (885 lb-ft) of torque that would enable it to wipe 0-100 (0-62 mph) in 2.5 seconds and send it on its way to a breathtaking 200 km/h (124 mph). It has a battery system that offers up to 375 km (233 miles) range and fast charges in just 25 minutes.

Mark Laukkanen from Verge says they’re all about creating the most advanced electric superbikes without losing the thrill of the ride. The Starmatter Dash is all about giving riders a clear, real-time scoop on what’s happening with their bike.
