Clear some garage space (or, more accurately, some floor space), because someone just spent £201,000 on a car you can’t even drive. Yes, that’s right—a full-scale Porsche 934 sculpture, made entirely of tubular wireframe, has sold for over three times the price of an actual, roadworthy 930 Turbo. But who needs an engine when you have art?

Crafted by London-based artist Benedict Radcliffe, this masterpiece is a stunning homage to the legendary Porsche 934, famous for its Jägermeister racing livery. The sculpture captures the essence of the car so well that if you squint, you might just convince yourself it could start up and take off. Spoiler: it won’t.

The wireframe wonder drew 218 bids and over 6,000 views in just a week on Collecting Cars, proving that people love Porsches—even the ones that don’t move. The winning bidder, a collector in Asia, is now the proud owner of what might be the most expensive game of “invisible car” ever played.

First unveiled at Milan Design Week and later showcased by Porsche China, this sculpture has seen more of the world than most of us. And while it may not win any races, it will undoubtedly be the conversation starter of the century. After all, why settle for a Porsche that takes up space in your garage when you can have one that takes up space in your living room?

So, if you’ve ever dreamed of owning a Porsche but hate dealing with maintenance, fuel costs, or, you know, driving, then maybe it’s time to start saving for the next Radcliffe masterpiece. Who knows? Maybe next time, he’ll make a wireframe Ferrari.
