KTM has once again rolled up to the motocross world with the energy of a kid who had six cans of Red Bull for breakfast. The 2026 KTM SX-F FACTORY EDITIONs are here, and let’s just say they are not shy about their purpose. They exist to remind everyone else on the track that KTM is still the kid who shows up to school with a 300 hp pencil sharpener, just because.

These new FACTORY EDITIONs are based on the already ferocious KTM 450 SX-F and 250 SX-F platforms, which were busy collecting wins the whole of 2025. For 2026, KTM decided that winning is fine, but terrorizing the start gate with factory-level equipment is better. The big headline this year is the introduction of WP PRO COMPONENTS as standard. Yes, full-blown factory suspension tech is now baked right into the production run.
The WP XACT PRO 7548 fork is a 48 mm cone-valve unit with a 310 mm stroke and a 23 mm piston diameter, all engineered for obsessive tuning. Riders can choose from fifteen spring rates and adjust compression, rebound, and damping down to the millimeter. The WP XACT PRO 8950 shock clocks in just above 4 kg and prioritizes traction and stability. Throw in the Connectivity Unit Offroad and the KTMconnect app, and it feels like the bike is taking notes on your riding style.
Power is not a problem. The SX-F FACTORY EDITIONs run compact, mass-centralized engines: 47 hp on the 250 and 63 hp on the 450, both weighing under 27 kg. Frames are laser-cut, robot-welded, hydro-formed, and probably blessed by a wizard, given how precise the torsional flex is. A titanium Akrapovič silencer keeps noise at the FIM-compliant 109 dB without sacrificing torque.
Factory Racing touches are everywhere. Carbon skid plate. Carbon disc guard. CNC triple clamps. Hinson outer clutch cover. Dunlop GEOMAX MX34 tyres. And a set of Red Bull KTM graphics that make the bikes look like they woke up ready to win something important.
Available at authorized KTM dealers from December 2025. Pricing to be announced.
