Some gaming routers look like alien cockroaches that crash-landed on your desk. Not the ROG Strix GS-BE7200, though. Like the recently launched ROG Strix GS-BE18000, this thing is clean, sharp, and white enough to pass for minimalist décor. Though the whiteness can be worrying because, you know, UV.

Anyhoo, not only performs, it wants to be seen. With its semi-transparent top panel showing layered ROG patterns, it has just the right amount of “futuristic flex” without sprouting a forest of antennas.
Under the hood, the GS-BE7200 packs WiFi 7 dual-band Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 4K-QAM, pushing speeds up to 7.2 Gbps. ASUS even threw in a fifth transmitter/receiver dedicated to 5 GHz, giving it a 5T5R setup for up to 15% better range compared to your average 4T4R rigs. Basically, it’s tuned to punch lag in the face.
On the numbers, you’re looking at 12.5G wired capacity with four 2.5G LAN ports, one 2.5G WAN, and two gaming ports ready for sweaty, no-compromise sessions. Triple-Level Game Acceleration optimizes the line, while Smart Home Master sorts out your IoT clutter, VPNs, and even parental controls if you feel generous.
And yes, it’s armored with AiProtection security and preloaded VPN services like NordVPN and Surfshark. Whether you’re chasing every last frame or just building the ultimate white-out battlestation, the GS-BE7200 slots right in.
There is no official release date for this gaming router. It was showcased at the recent Gamescom.
