At this point, Dreame has established itself as a maker of all things that clean. Well, that changes at this year’s CES, when it officially branches into a domain that is far from cleaning-related: action cameras, or more correctly put, Personal AI Imaging. The Dreame Leaptic Cube is an 8K AI tiny action camera that looks suspiciously like an Insta360 Go 3 clone.
But unlike a simple “me too” gadget, the Leaptic Cube comes in swinging with specs that would normally belong to something twice its size. It weighs just 55.9 grams, which means it is light enough to forget you are even wearing it, yet inside that tiny body sits a 1/1.3-inch sensor capable of shooting in full 8K. That alone already makes it weirdly serious for something that could disappear into your pocket.
Video-wise, it supports 8K recording and high-frame-rate 4K slow motion. Dreame also throws in its GyroSteady AI stabilization, which keeps footage smooth even when you are doing things that usually make videos look like they were shot during an earthquake. Low-light performance is handled by Dreame’s AI imaging system, which boosts detail and reduces noise when lighting is less than friendly.
One of Dreame’s big ideas here is “unnoticed wearability.” At under 60 grams, the Leaptic Cube is designed not just to be carried, but worn. It uses an omnidirectional magnetic mounting system, which lets you snap it onto mounts, clips, or accessories without messing with screws and brackets. You just stick it on and go, which is exactly how action cameras should work in the first place.
Then there is what Dreame calls Full-Link AI. This is where the camera stops acting like a dumb recorder and starts pretending it is your creative partner. Before you shoot, AI suggests settings. During recording, you can give it natural voice commands like “follow me while I ski.” After shooting, it can automatically generate edited videos with one tap. So instead of spending your night trimming clips and adding music, the camera does most of the boring part for you.
Inside that tiny cube is a flagship-grade 1/1.3-inch sensor, support for 8K video, 4K high-frame-rate slow motion, and Dreame’s own AI algorithms that improve low-light video and stabilization. The idea is simple: shrinking the camera should not mean shrinking image quality.
Dreame is also not stopping at just a camera. Alongside the Leaptic Cube, it showed AI Glasses and an AI Ring that connect to it. The glasses act as a first-person viewfinder, the ring works as a subtle remote, and the camera does the recording. Dreame calls this a “see-control-record” loop. In real life, it just means you can look, tap, and record without pulling out your phone or poking at tiny screens.
The Leaptic Cube already picked up serious validation before it even hit CES 2026. Back in October 2025, its design won Japan’s Good Design Award. At CES, it went on to collect multiple “Best of CES 2026” awards from TechRadar, Android Headlines, TECHAERIS, and a big “Best in Show” from Trusted Reviews. That is a lot of praise for something that looks like it could get lost between your couch cushions.
From early looks at IFA 2025 to its full debut at CES 2026, the reaction has been pretty consistent. People keep saying the same thing: it is ridiculously small for what it can do. From extreme sports folks to everyday vloggers, the appeal is obvious. It does not get in your way, it does not weigh you down, and it quietly handles both recording and editing.
Key specs and features of the Dreame Leaptic Cube include an 8K-capable 1/1.3-inch sensor, support for high-frame-rate 4K slow motion, GyroSteady AI stabilization, AI-enhanced low-light video, voice control with natural language, one-tap AI video editing, and an omnidirectional magnetic mounting system.
