Perhaps a sports car-inspired phone isn’t your cuppa, and adorable, pouty-lipped MOLLY isn’t quite your style. All you want is a device that feels more like a power bank that happens to have smartphone functions. Well, if so, congrats—Honor has you covered with the Honor Power2.

Powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8500 Elite, the new Power2 [CH] is a mid-range device with a colossal 10,080 mAh battery. Yes, that’s right, my friends. This is the second Honor device in recent months to rock a power-bank-level battery. It packs a 10,080 mAh Qinghai Lake battery with support for 80W wired fast charging and 27W reverse wired charging, delivering a whopping 17.3 hours of general battery life, or up to 22 hours of short video playback, 26.3 hours of video playback, or 14.2 hours of gaming. Even at sustained brightness, it can offer up to 20.3 hours of battery life. Honor also claims up to six years of healthy battery life, defined as retaining at least 80 percent battery health.
Up front is a 120 Hz 6.79-inch 1.5K OLED display with peak brightness reaching 8,000 nits. The phone also features second-generation Honor Hongyan communication with the Honor C1+ enhanced connectivity chip, and it carries more IP ratings than most mid-range smartphones. We are talking IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. That translates to surviving intense rainfall for up to 18 days, submersion in water up to 6 meters, water temperatures up to 85°C, and repeated immersion up to 10,000 times.
Durability does not stop there. Honor says the device offers all-around drop resistance—capable of sustaining a drop from up to 2.3 meters. It may not look rugged, but it is clearly designed for adventure. Alongside its dust, water, and drop resistance, it includes an AI outdoor mode that enhances cellular performance, call clarity, brightness, and touch responsiveness for outdoor use. Build-wise, it features a metal frame that resists bending and is fingerprint- and smudge-resistant.

Cooling duties are handled by Honor’s new Ice-Sealed Cooling System, which uses fifth-generation superconducting hexagonal graphite with VC laser-engraved hydrophilic properties. This setup reduces chip temperature by 1°C and delivers a total heat dissipation area of 40,000 mm².
On the camera front, the Honor Power2 sports a dual-camera setup with a 50 MP main camera with OIS and a 5 MP wide-angle camera, paired with a 16 MP selfie camera. Other highlights include LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.1 storage, USB-C via USB 2.0, Bluetooth 6.0, symmetrical dual 1115 super linear speakers, smart call audio for noisy environments, AI anti-scam protection, Honor’s light-sensing prediction technology for faster QR code scanning, the YOYO AI companion, an IR blaster, and NFC for unlocking doors, cars, and more.
The Honor Power2 is offered with 12 GB of RAM and either 256 GB or 512 GB of storage, with prices starting at 2,699 yuan [CH], or about US$388.
