What? Is the God of Fortune minifigure that comes with the LEGO Fortune Firecracker too small for you? It probably is if you wish for a huge fortune. Well, if so, LEGO has you covered on that, too. LEGO has put its own spin on one of the definitive Spring Festival or Chinese New Year icons, and boy, is it looking absolutely adorable.
Designed for kids aged 9 and up, the LEGO Fortune Master (40864) Building Set uses a modest 386 elements to create a chubby and super jovial Fortune Master, a.k.a. the God of Fortune figure. The figure is garbed in a traditional red and gold getup and is surrounded by symbols of good luck, including gold coins and red packets. It also comes with three sets of eyes to customize its expression. Unused eyes can be stored in a hidden compartment, which is a nice touch.
When completed, the model measures over 5 in. (13 cm) high, 4.5 in. (11 cm) wide, and 4 in. (10 cm) deep.
