OMEGA x Swatch Mission to the Sun – Solar Eclipse
Created for the August 12 solar eclipse, this one-day-only Spanish MoonSwatch adds a black pusher, a New Moon battery cover, and another difficult mission for collectors.

Swatch has found another reason for MoonSwatch collectors to rearrange their day. Coinciding with the August 12 solar eclipse, the OMEGA x Swatch Mission to the Sun – Solar Eclipse gives the familiar yellow chronograph one small but suitably cosmic alteration.

Its pusher at 2 o’clock is rendered in black Bioceramic to represent the Moon passing across the Sun. Flip the watch over, and the battery cover displays a New Moon—the only lunar phase during which a solar eclipse can occur. Congratulations: your watch now comes with an astronomy lesson.

The 42 mm quartz chronograph retains its yellow Bioceramic case, asymmetrical Speedmaster shape, three subdials, OMEGA x Swatch branding, and tachymeter scale with the famous dot over 90. Orange and white accents brighten the dial, while a white rubber strap with a hook-and-loop closure keeps it attached during any frantic collector sprinting.

The catch is that it will be sold only on August 12, 2026, and only in Spain (€280 [ES]). Buyers can try the Spanish Swatch website, stores in Bilbao, Ibiza, and Valencia, in-store digital catalogs nationwide, or the Rolling Planet touring León.

The eclipse will be brief. Availability may prove even shorter, as history has taught us so.
