In Japan, exchanging business cards is a carefully observed gesture of professional respect, not merely a quick contact swap. Tamashii Nations has decided that what this ritual needs is a transformation sequence.

Its Automatic Transforming Business Card Case unfolds at the press of a button, rotates your card 180 degrees, and presents it to the person opposite. Your name and job title now have an entrance worthy of a robot anime.
Fold the case shut to load the next card. Capacity is limited, and Tamashii Nations itself recommends saving it for the right moment. Probably not the meeting about cutting unnecessary expenditure. You know why, but if you don’t, it’s sad to say you may be that unnecessary expenditure. Oops.
Drawing on the company’s Chogokin engineering experience, the ABS case measures approximately 125 × 95 × 25 mm (4.9 × 3.7 × 1 inches). It is designed for 55 × 91 mm business cards with a recommended paper thickness of 0.24 mm.
Three versions—Toy Color, Standard Color, and Black Color—are planned for October 2026 in Japan. Pre-orders opened August 27, priced at 3,300 yen including tax [JP], or around US$21.
It cannot negotiate your contract, but it should ensure nobody forgets who handed them the card.
