Did we tell you about the Capcom video game, Onimusha: Way of the Sword? Never mind we did not, because we are telling you now, or rather, telling you about the game via this special edition graphics card from ASUS, the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is a major hit for Capcom, marking a massive, highly successful comeback for a franchise that was dormant for two decades, and so getting a co-branded GPU sounds like a logical move. Besides, when a game sells over a million copies on day one, you don’t just play it—you build an entire rig around it. Well, that’s provided you haven’t already purchased the game yet. More about that in a jiffy.

The limited-edition GPU sports a striking blue-and-gold color scheme inspired by the legendary Oni Gauntlet, complete with custom graphics on its shroud and backplate that pay tribute to the game’s dark fantasy setting in Edo-period Kyoto.

Beneath the samurai-inspired makeover is AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture, packing 16 GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit bus, PCIe 5.0 support, and boost clocks reaching 3,080 MHz in OC Mode. Game Mode runs at 2,540 MHz.

Keeping things cool are three Axial-tech fans, a phase-change GPU thermal pad, and a massive heatsink housed within a 3.125-slot design. ASUS also throws in military-grade components, dual-ball fan bearings, GPU Guard reinforcement, and a protective PCB coating for durability.

And here’s the kicker: the graphics card comes bundled with a copy of Onimusha: Way of the Sword. So, if you haven’t bought the game yet, ASUS has conveniently given you an excuse to upgrade your GPU.

While the TUF Gaming Radeon RX 9070 XT Onimusha Special Edition has been officially listed, we find no retailers selling it, which is kinda strange cos’ the game was released last month. The product has a link to the page to the redemption page, which supposedly has instructions on how to get your game code and redeem it on Steam. But interestingly, there is none relating to this special edition GPU.
