The 30th anniversary celebration of Initial D does not end with Tomica collectibles and commemorative coins. There are watches too, courtesy of ANGEL CLOVER, a watch brand under Ueni Trading.

To mark three decades of downhill racing and life lessons delivered at unreasonable speeds, ANGEL CLOVER has released the Initial D 30th Anniversary Watch Collection. The lineup consists of solar-powered chronograph watches inspired by the cars that defined the series. Displayed and sold through a Shibuya pop-up store, the collection translates familiar machines into wrist-worn form with details fans will recognize instantly.
The main lineup covers three core models. The Fujiwara Takumi Toyota AE86 version quickly became the most talked-about release after selling out online within a day. It is joined by two RX-7 models, one based on Keisuke Takahashi’s FD3S and the other on Ryosuke Takahashi’s FC3S. All three share the same solar-powered chronograph layout, keeping the focus on design rather than mechanical spectacle.
A fourth model quietly expands the range. The Satō Mako Nissan Sil-Eighty model draws from the Impact Blue car driven by Satō Mako and Shigeno Sayuki. Built from a Nissan 180SX body paired with an S13 Silvia front end, the Sil-Eighty remains one of the more distinctive cars in the series, particularly for its battles at Usui Pass.
The watch follows the car’s vivid blue color scheme, features “Impact Blue” printed on the dial, and uses gauge-inspired subdials consistent with the rest of the collection. This model is exclusive to the official online store and TIME TIME.
Design details across the collection stay consistent. The 12 o’clock index references each car’s chassis code. Subdials mirror vehicle gauges. The case back features a wheel-style texture stamped with the Initial D 30th Anniversary logo. The AE86 model adds “Fujiwara Tofu Shop” engraved on the case side. Each watch also includes a keyholder as a purchase bonus.
The collection will be showcased from December 13 to December 25, 2025, at Shibuya Loft 1F Kansaka Stage.
