Audio Pro W-Generation Speakers

If you think wireless speakers have already peaked, Audio Pro would like a word. Or more accurately, a full-range, high-fidelity sonic statement. The Swedish audio brand has launched its W-Generation speakers, a complete overhaul of its wireless multiroom lineup that promises louder output, deeper bass, smarter software, and enough Scandinavian restraint to still look good in a minimalist living room.

The W-Generation is not a single speaker but a full family. Models include compact units like the A10 MkII W and A15 W, stereo pairs such as the A28 W and A38 W, and the flagship A48 W floorstanding speakers. There are also heavy hitters like the C20 W and Drumfire II W for those who believe music should be heard and felt. Every model has been acoustically re-engineered for greater clarity, lower distortion, and significantly higher loudness, delivering an immersive sound profile even at higher volume levels.

The A48 W leads the charge with up to a 10–15 dB increase in maximum sound pressure and improved Balanced Mode Radiator tweeters for clearer highs and stronger overall presence. Meanwhile, the portable A15 W offers deeper bass and extended battery life, with up to 19 hours of playback and protection against light rain. These improvements mean the speakers are not just louder, but more refined across the entire frequency spectrum.

Control comes via Audio Pro’s redesigned app, which introduces advanced EQ, improved Wi-Fi synchronization, multiroom grouping, and support for streaming platforms such as Spotify, TIDAL, and AirPlay 2. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and analog input options, allowing the speakers to integrate easily into modern home audio setups.

Visually, the W-Generation retains Audio Pro’s signature Scandinavian design while refining finishes, grille fabrics, and metal details. Select models are also available in walnut, offering a warmer look alongside the usual black and white finishes. The result is a lineup that sounds serious and looks equally composed.
