if paying for overly priced electronics is your kind of thing, i have a good news for you. Bang & Olufsen recently announced its first 3D TV dubbed the BeoVision 4-85 Plasma that will cost a bank-breaking $85,000 (which works out to be $1,000 per diagonal inch). as a consolation for paying such a hefty price, B&O is kind enough to throw in a triangular BeoLab 10 center channel speaker and a motorized stand that lowers the TV when you’re not watching.

i have no doubt that this is way overpriced but who am i to say how you should spend your money? for a grand price of $85,000, you will get a grayish framed plasma TV without the ostentatious bling of gold or crystals. however, if you are still undaunted by these facts, you will be glad that come this summer, a 3D-103-inch version will be made available – that’s if $85k isn’t pricey or the ming-boggling 85-inch isn’t suffice for you. speaking of which, it is safe to assume that the 103-inch version will cross the $100k mark.
