CaDA 1:24 Scale Mazda 787B (C55029) Building Set

Good news, fans of Mazda. The Japanese automaker’s legendary endurance race car Mazda 787B – specifically car number #18 that won the 1991 24 Hours of Le Mans – has finally got the love of plastic building bricks. But like the Juventus F.C. Allianz Stadium, we saw recently, this awesome brick-built representation of the Mazda 787B (#18) is not from LEGO; it is from CaDA.

CaDA 1:24 Scale Mazda 787B (C55029) Building Set

The CaDA 1:24 Scale Mazda 787B (#18) (C55029) Building Set [CH] is the latest to join the ever-growing CaDA official collab building sets. As noted in the product name, this model is of 1:24 scale and since it is officially licensed, it gets to replicate the white and blue livery, as well as the Mazda logos. Unfortunately, CaDA did not manage to secure agreements with other sponsors of the race car but given the size, it probably does not have the real estate for more decals anyway.

The CaDA 1:24 Scale Mazda 787B (C55029) Building Set may be small but it is not lacking details, the iconic front air intake, the aerodynamic body lines, and the unmissable huge-ass rear wing have been faithfully recreated, so is the steering wheel and the racing wheels. The model further touts upward opening car windows, and oh, the rear wing is adjustable too.
