Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 PC case with built-in illuminated action figure display compartment

In the world of PC customization, there is a type of case affectionately called a “sea view house” by Chinese PC customizers. It is basically a case with two or more transparent sides. This tempered glass case has bred a new kind of customization that goes beyond RGB RAM, RGB fans, AIOs, or GPUs. It became a display for action figures. I kid you not. Yes, I know. It’s pretty insane to put plastic figures in an environment that could potentially run up to 85 degrees Celsius. Where I see insanity, Cooler Master sees opportunity.

Revealed back in May, way before the new holey case debuted, is the Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 PC case. Instead of putting the GPU and CPU fans at risk by placing figures inside the case where it is not designed for, the Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 has a dedicated “compartment” for an action figure as big as 360 mm (H) × 220 mm (W) × 118 mm (D). Mind you, this is not just a section isolated from the rest of the PC components. It is a full-fledged display section complete with display lights to make your action figure the spotlight of the case.

There are three versions: Panorama, Stage Mirror, and Stage LCD. The former has a transparent back, letting the high-tech components in the main PC case be seen, and it is enclosed by glass, just like an actual display case. Meanwhile, the Stage Mirror features a mirror for showcasing the rear details of the display item, and the Stage LCD rocks a 15.6-inch LCD for playing themed animations and photos. The Stage versions do not have a glass encasing the figure display area. Interestingly, Stage Mirror and Stage LCD can accommodate slightly smaller figures measuring 328 mm × 290 mm × 110 mm.

You can understand the Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 as a PC case with a front extension starting from the front panel. That said, it is definitely not a space saver. You are looking at a massive 549 mm long, 291 mm wide, and 581 mm tall chassis, including protrusions. The volume is 86 L without the protrusions. Yes, it is a full-size ATX case, capable of gobbling up GPUs as long as 430 mm and PSUs up to 210 mm, and it does not require tiny hands to work on.

Anyhoo, the case also supports Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and BTF with 110 mm cable clearance for clean, sleek setups. As far as ports go, it has the Cooler Master usuals: a 3.5 mm headphone jack, a pair of USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, and a USB 4.0 Gen 2×2 Type-C port. The case features Cooler Master’s signature aluminum exo-structure, a new central cable management chamber, and a dual-chamber layout to keep hardware and cables separate.

Cooling flexibility is wild, supporting up to 12 × 120 mm, 4 × 140 mm, 4 × 180 mm, and 4 × 200 mm fans, or up to four 360 mm radiators. For GPU show-offs, it has vertical GPU support with a pre-installed PCIe 5.0 riser cable.

We do not see the Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 Panorama, Stage Mirror, and Stage LCD listed on the U.S. website, but there was a MasterFrame 360 Panorama S Limited Edition pre-built system with a run of just 100 units, each individually numbered and fitted with a laser-etched stainless-steel nameplate. The system comes with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, 12 × 120 mm ARGB fans, a MasterLiquid Atmos II 360 LCD AIO cooler, an AMD 9800X3D CPU on an MSI MAG B850 TOMAHAWK MAX WIFI motherboard, 32 GB DDR5-6000 RGB memory, a Kingston NV3 2 TB M.2 NVMe SSD, and a Cooler Master V Platinum 1100 V2 PSU, running Windows 11 Home.

Last check, the MasterFrame 360 Panorama S Limited Edition was sold out despite its luxury price tag of US$3,099.99, discounted from US$3,599.99. We did find the Cooler Master MasterFrame 360 Panorama, Stage Mirror, and Stage LCD PC cases listed on Cooler Master’s Singapore website. The Panorama sells for S$279 and the Stage Mirror for S$329 via Cooler Master’s stores on Shopee and Lazada. We did not find the Stage LCD listing, though.
