DREO TurboPoly Fan 765S Matter
As heatwaves continue to grip many parts of the world, DREO has made its TurboPoly Fan 765S even more appealing by adding Matter support. The update lets the powerful smart fan work seamlessly with compatible smart home ecosystems while keeping rooms cool and comfortable.

Large parts of the world are currently being slow-roasted by relentless heatwaves. Sure, you could blast the air conditioner all day, but someone, somewhere, will tell you that’s bad for the planet. A fan, on the other hand, is a much easier sell. Even better if it happens to be smart enough to work with the rest of your smart home.

DREO TurboPoly Fan 765S Matter

This is where the DREO TurboPoly Fan 765S comes in. The fan itself is not new, but it has just become a whole lot smarter thanks to native Matter support. The move also feels like another sign that Matter has all but won the IoT standards war, with more and more manufacturers deciding it is better to play nicely together than lock users into their own smart home ecosystems.

The good news for existing owners is that DREO didn’t ask them to buy a new fan. You’re not being punished for being an early adopter ‘cos Matter arrives via a software update.

The TurboPoly Fan 765S is no slouch when it comes to cooling, either. It can throw air up to 120 feet (36.6 meters), combines 150-degree horizontal and 100-degree vertical oscillation to circulate air around an entire room, and uses DREO’s TurboWind technology with a quiet DC motor to keep things comfortable without sounding like a jet preparing for takeoff. Existing features such as 3D Oscillation and MotionSync remain exclusive to the DREO app.

The real news, however, is Matter. With native Matter connectivity, the TurboPoly Fan 765S can now slot into compatible smart home platforms alongside devices from other brands instead of living in its own little digital neighborhood. That means less juggling between apps and more time enjoying the breeze. For power users, it also supports deeper automation through Home Assistant, while the DREO app continues to offer more advanced controls.

If Matter really has become the common language of the smart home, then this update is good news not just for DREO owners, but for anyone tired of smart devices behaving as if they have never met each other before.

In case you are interested, the DREO TurboPoly Fan 765S sells for US$159.99 in the U.S. It is also available from Amazon for a little less at US$143.97. But this price, at the time of this post, is only for the black color model.
