You don’t need to be a fan of Japanese anime/manga Yurucamp, aka Laid-Back Camp (ゆるキャン△), to appreciate the Yurucamp x Ispack Backpack. For the uninitiated, Yurucamp is about a bunch of girls camping. And camping is where the girls were seen using a backpack that also doubles as a field chair.
Yurucamp Ispack Backpack Field Chair hybrid is a collaboration between Japanese backpack brand Ispack and the anime. For those unfamiliar, the backpack is not a new thing; it is a product of Ispack, featuring a removable, collapsible field chair.
Just that the Yurucamp version is kind of as ‘seen in the anime’ thing, boasting Yurucamp specific colorway, branding and whatnot.
The bag itself offers 25L capacity and features a couple of front pockets, a dedicated bottle pocket and it looks like it is rocking the MOLLE system too. The chair itself has a maximum payload of 100 kilograms (220 lbs).
Yurucamp Ispack Backpack Field Chair will sell for 22,000 Yen (about US$199) in Japan when it becomes available on July 24. Folks in Japan can reserve theirs over at Movic.jp. Not sure if it will be available to the global market.
