Energizer Ultimate U710S Smartphone

Everyone wants a piece of the smartphone market. Even Energizer. That’s right. The American maker of batteries is also in the business of making mobile phones. Avenir Telecom is the French telecom company is the company responsible for turning out Energizer-brand phones since 2010 and the latest to join the Energizer phone lineup is the Energizer Ultimate U710S.

Nothing groundbreaking here, though, but it should cost no more than €200, or so we heard. Anyways, the Energizer Ultimate U710S is a large device with a 7.1-inch FHD (2,244 x 1,080 pixels) IPS display in 19:9 aspect ratio which, interestingly, instead of the usual Corning Gorilla Glass, it has Asashi glass for protection.

It is driven by a MediaTek Helio P23 MT6763 chip with an octacore processor (2.0 GHz Cortex-A53), featuring Mali G71 MP2 700 MHz GPU. Like I have said. Nothing shocking here and that’s including design.

Other details include a water drop notch display with 5 MP front-facing camera, a dual camera (13 MP + VGA) around the back, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB storage – expandable with microSD card (up to 128 GB), USB-C port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 with BLE, 2.4 GHz wireless 802.11, a large 6,000 mAh battery, fingerprint sensor, and the usual basic bunch of sensors.
