Remember the Walkman-inspired portable cassette player from FiiO? Well, if anyone’s interested, the company added a see-through model. However, if a portable cassette tape player does not strike a cord the younger you, then perhaps a Discman-inspired portable CD player would.
Over the weekend at the CanJam London (July 20-21), FiiO has revealed a portable CD player, DM13. No official words in print are available to small blogs like us but we learned about this exciting new product through What Hi-Fi? Here is what we know.
The DM13 CD player offers versatile headphone outputs (3.5mm and 4.4mm), multiple output options (analog, SPDIF, USB), and aptX HD Bluetooth connectivity. It supports various file formats and features a built-in battery with up to 8 hours of playback.
The FiiO DM13 Portable CD Player will be available in silver as soon as September for US$179, with more colors expected to be introduced.
