Godzilla 70th Anniversary Sake Set NAGANOSAKE.JP

When you see Godzilla stomping on land up close as Kōichi Shikishima did in Godzilla Minus One, you’d be downing bottle after bottle of sake to keep your nerves together. That said, in case you really need to do that, what could be more apt than sipping on Godzilla-themed sake like the Godzilla 70th Anniversary Sake Set?

To celebrate Godzilla’s 70th anniversary, NAGANOSAKE.JP, an alcohol e-retailer owned by Onion Sumbunsha Co., Ltd., is launching a limited-edition sake set featuring labels from Godzilla’s popular movies. The sake set is a special three-way collaboration involving Toho, local Shinshu sake, and NAGANOSAKE.JP.

This special set, available from July 16, 2024, includes six 300 ml (around 10 fl. oz.) bottles from renowned sake breweries in Nagano Prefecture, priced at 5,500 yen [JP] (around 35 USD). It is definitely a collectible for any Godzilla fans—even if they don’t drink at all. Unfortunately, this is limited to the Japanese market. So I guess you will have to look to other alcoholic beverages to calm your nerves when Gojira starts crushing your comrades before your eyes.
