If you are just starting with a motorcycle, the typical size of a regular motorcycle can be rather intimidating. That said, you may want to go for a two-wheeler that is more compact and easier to tame like Honda’s latest miniMOTO, the Honda MSX125 Grom 2025 motorcycle.
Honda introduces the 2025 MSX125 Grom with bold new aesthetics, including easy-to-remove side panels and three modern paint options. Unlike the MONKEY and SUPER CUB, it offers a modern street bike aesthetic for riders who rather not take the retro route.
This mini-motorcycle features a 125 cc SOHC (that’s a Single Overhead Camshaft, for the uninitiated) 2-valve air-cooled engine, five-speed gearbox, 31mm USD fork, hydraulic disc brakes with IMU control, LED headlight, and an LCD instrument panel.
The SOHC motor, which produces a healthy 7.5 kW (10.1 hp) and 10.5 Nm (7.7 lb-ft), is mated to a 5-speed transmission, and it is, of course, an electric start.
It rolls on a suspension system comprising a USD fork at the front and a mono-shock absorber paired with a rectangular section steel swingarm. Meanwhile, a 220 mm hydraulic disc paired with a dual piston and a 190 mm hydraulic disc with a 1-piston caliper ensures reliable braking duties.
The redesigned body offers enhanced knee comfort and a sporty new look, complemented by Honda’s original accessories. This little guy offers versatility and personalization potential, inheriting the joy and functionality of its predecessors.
