Huawei P60 Series Smartphone

You probably going to know this even if you can’t buy it. Along with the new folding phone, Huawei has also revealed the new Huawei P60 Series devices which include three models, namely, the entry-level Huawei P60, the pro-model Huawei P60 Pro, and a new “Art” model which has a, well, artistic design that is vastly different from the other two devices.

There are no size differences between the three devices. All three phones have a variable refresh rate (1-120 Hz) 6.67-inch LTPO OLED display with FHD+ display (2,700 x 1,220 pixels) and all three devices are powered by Snapdragon 8+ 4G SoC. The differentiators are mainly the battery capacity and cameras. Even then there are similarities between models.

All models have the same 48 MP main camera (f1.4-f4.0) with OIS. Meanwhile, the Huawei P60 Pro and Huawei P60 have the same 13 MP super wide-angle camera (f2.2) while the Art gets a 40 MP super wide-angle snapper (f2.2). Both the Pro and Huawei P60 Art share the same 48 MP telephoto camera (f2.1) with OIS, while the standard P60 has a 12 MP periscope telephoto camera (f3.4)with OIS. It appears all three devices have the same 13 MP super wide-angle selfie camera (f2.4).

The Pro and standard P60 pack a 4,815 mAh battery, while the P60 Art is outfitted with a 5,100 mAh battery featuring a silicon-carbon cell that affords large capacity. The P60 Pro and P60 Art benefit from a faster 88 W super fast charger while P60 gets a 66 W super fast charger. All three phones support 50 W wireless charging as we as reverse charging (no wattage was revealed, though).

Bluetooth 5.2, GPS (L1+L5/AGPS.GLONASS/Beidou/GALILEO/QZSS.NavIC), WiFi 6, and USB 3.1 (Type C interface), in-display fingerprint sensor, Kunlun Glass, are available across all devices and similarly, all three devices are IP68 rated.

All three devices are available to order in China. The Huawei P60 starts at 4,488 yuan (about US$652), and the Huawei P60 Pro and Huawei P60 Art start at 6,988 yuan and 8,988 yuan (which works out to be approximately US$1,016 and US$1,306).
