JSAUX FlipGo Portable Monitor Lite 15.6"

If you are in the market for an external monitor that does not consume your entire desktop, and perhaps even lets you bring it on the road, well then, you will want to check out the new JSAUX FlipGo Portable Monitor Lite 15.6”.

A little sibling of the dual-stacked portable monitor that raised more than a million dollars on Kickstarter last February, the JSAUX FlipGo Portable Monitor Lite 15.6″ offers you an additional 15.6-inch monitor for your laptop.

But it is not just any external monitor; it is a stacked display with two monitors. While it is essentially a dual-screen monitor, it can function as a single monitor via the UltraView mode which results in a 21-inch equivalent screen.

The only caveat is that the single screen is interrupted by the individual monitor’s frame. Anyhoo, if you intend to use it with a Mac, that will be the case because Mac does not support dual-screen extended display through a single cable connection which this device offers.

Having said that, JSAUX FlipGo Portable Monitor Lite 15.6″ is best suited for Windows computers even though the marketing images seem to beg to differ. Also, it can be used in both landscape or portrait orientations.

The display is an IPS panel and it offers full HD resolution, 250 nits typical brightness, 800:1 contrast ratio, 178° viewing angle, 60 Hz refresh rate, and 45% NTSC color gamut. Not the best in the house but hey, it is highly portable, at just 1.53 kilograms (3.4 pounds), and it is relatively inexpensive at US$299.

Other highlights include touchscreen-enabled with gesture support for macOS and Windows, HiDPI display compatibility, powered by DisplayLink, one-cable connectivity, 60W reverse charging, built-in HUB, and magnetically attaches to compatible JSAUX monitor stand.
