KILLSPENCER Oversized Floor Pillows
Forget bean bags. KILLSPENCER’s full-grain leather floor pillow comes in sizes large enough to resemble bedding for a giant—and costs up to US$10,000.

Want to laze on the floor without breaking your back and feel oh-so-luxurious while doing so? Well, then I say, forget bean bags and check out the KILLSPENCER Floor Pillow. You heard that right: a pillow for the floor.

For the uninitiated, bean bags are not the only solution for casual floor seating. Firm floor cushions have some perks over fluid bean bags. They hold their shape much better, allowing them to double as footrests or coffee tables when paired with a tray. Plus, they are a pretty surreal sight. They look like a giant’s pillow.

Available in queen- and king-mattress sizes, KILLSPENCER’s oversized floor pillows are made in the U.S.A. and hand-stitched from 4.25 x 5-inch (10.8 x 12.7 cm) full-grain leather panels. Inside is a 50/50 feather-and-premium-fiber blend, combining feather softness with synthetic fill that helps the pillow retain its shape. A zipper closure provides access to the insert, though I am not sure you will want to wrestle it out once you know what each pillow costs. More on that in a bit.

The Queen measures 80 x 60 x 10 inches (203 x 152 x 25 cm), weighs around 55 lbs (25 kg), and costs US$8,000. The King expands to 80 x 76 x 10 inches (203 x 193 x 25 cm), weighs 70 lbs (32 kg), and costs a grand US$10,000.

At those prices, perhaps breaking your back was merely the budget option. Speaking of options, KILLSPENCER also offers two smaller versions, appropriately named Small and Large, for a more “affordable” US$2,500 and US$5,000, respectively—in case anyone is tightening their belt.
