If Marvel’s Thor decided to cook some steak, he’d probably use his trusty hammer to beat the hell out of the meat to, you know, tenderize it. Wait. No. He can’t do that. He’d smash his kitchen countertop (or Jane’s) and so, he would have this: Marvel Thor Mjolnir Meat Tenderizer as the companion hammer for times when he need to tenderize any meat. Note to self: tenderizing meat is not the same as smashing your monsters and rogue robots.

You need not to be “worthy” to wield this version of the Mjolnir. As long as you have twenty-something bucks to drop, you can pick one up to fill in your kitchen’s arsenal of cookware. Whoever thought of repurposing Thor’s godly mallet into a meat tenderizer is genius. I’d say the same level of genius as whoever thought of making it into a toolbox, a headphone stand (especially this!) and a power bank.
The Marvel Thor Mjolnir Meat Tenderizer is a product of toy maker Underground Toys and it was apparently a Summer Convention 2018 Exclusive. Fret not if you missed the convention (whatever convention that was…) because, you can still find it at GameStop going for an affordable $24.99. OK. It is not quite affordable as far as meat tenderizer is concerned, but hey, it is a collectible and it is functional, and so…
While the exorbitantly priced prop replica of the God of Thunder’s lightning summoning hammer can’t summon lightning, you can be sure this version, though not full-size (you don’t need full-size Mjolnir to tenderize meat, btw), can at least do one thing: tenderizing meat. Hmmm… that kind of makes the person in-charge of cooking feels like a real-life superhero… apart from the person who brings the bacon, of course.
