Cars with apps are nothing but distraction to drivers. Obviously, that’s not a good thing, even more so if you are driving a powerful and fast car like, say, a Lamborghini Huracán EVO. Thankfully, in-car apps distraction won’t be a thing in 2020 for Lamborghini Huracán EVO range because, Amazon Alexa.

That’s right. Amazon Alexa has arrived to cars and Automobili Lamborghini is the first automaker to incorporate full in-car control offered by Amazon’s voice assistant. When in the car, you will be able to adjust functions like climate, interior lighting and seat heating using simple voice command.

You can also ask Alexa to do the usual, you know, like placing calls, get directions, play music and audio books, check news and weather, and whatnot. Now, that’s progression. Not gestures or tapping on the screen.

Amazon Alexa’s functionality will be kept up-to-date within the Lamborghini models, so there’s no worry that it will go out-of-date or anything like that.

The Alexa option will be available during the course of 2020 across the entire range of Huracán EVO family, including the new RWD model. Speaking of the Huracán EVO RWD model, it was announced a few days ahead of this Alexa integration announcement (January 7) on January 4, 2020.
