While I may not be the biggest fan of LEGO Ninjago, I can admit its big sets always pack a punch when it comes to playability. The latest installment, LEGO Ninjago City Workshops (71837), isn’t quite as colossal as the City Gardens set from 2021, but it still commands attention—and possibly a whole room for display.

This 3,244-piece marvel stands 41 cm (16.1 inches) tall, 25 cm (9.8 inches) wide, and 25 cm (9.8 inches) deep. It’s a four-story playground featuring bustling apartments, lively stores, and dynamic restaurants—all modular for your rearranging pleasure. Oh, and did I mention the working cranes and a fully customizable posable mech? Yes, your inner mad scientist can finally tinker to their heart’s content.
But that’s not all: fans of the Ninjago TV series will appreciate hidden Easter eggs scattered throughout. And the 10 minifigures? (Yes, 10!) They include iconic characters like Zane and Pixal, alongside fresh faces Dorama, Dr. LaRow, Harumi, and Twitchy Tim—perfect for recreating battles from Ninjago Dragons Rising or cooking up your own chaos.
Set to launch on March 1, 2025, at US$249.99, the LEGO Ninjago City Workshops promises a build-and-play experience that’s a must for young ninjas and seasoned brickheads alike. If only I had that spare house…
