no. what you see here is not a new guitar amp from legendary guitar amp maker, Marshall. it is Marshall’s first foray into consumer loudspeaker since dabbling into personal audio gear almost two years ago and it has a pretty cool name to it as well: Marshall Hanwell Speakers. created to mark Marshall amplification division’s 50th anniversary, this loudspeaker is made for regular home and features the unmistakable Marshall’s iconic design, complete with the plastic brand name, control knobs and toggle switch. man, this is the speaker any guitar or rock fans would die for. don’t you think so? anyway, underneath its nostalgic wood and black vinyl construction, lies a dual long-throw woofers for super lows while hi-fi tweeters delivers the highs – all in the effort to make you feel like you are sitting in the front row of a concert. controls and input comes in the form of an analog power switch, volume, bass, and treble controls via knobs, and a 3.5mm audio input jack for your media sources. the Marshall Hanwell Speakers is slated to be officially available this November for an yet-to-be-disclosed amount. click past the jump for some larger views of this beautiful amp… er, we mean, speaker.
