After years of turning out Bluetooth speakers and headphones, Marshall Headphones has finally introduced its first true wireless sound earbuds. Called Mode II, it promised to deliver “thunderous audio experience” with “growling bass, natural-sounding mids and crisp treble,” pumped out through its custom-tuned dynamic 6 mm drivers.
The custom-tuned driver is housed inside the tiny, ergonomic enclosure with four ear tips to choose from. Marshall said its first’s TWS earbuds is IPX4 rated which means it should be able to sustain light moisture, such as sweat when exercising.
Touch-responsive area on the earbuds offer convenient control while Bluetooth 5.1 technology leverage on the best of wireless connectivity has to offer. The left ear further boasts access to Transparency mode, EQ settings as well as native voice assistant.
The onboard battery on each earbud offers up to 5 hours of wireless music enjoyment while the portable charging case provides a further 20 hours of use, or four charges with a full battery.
Rounding up the package are LED lights that display the current battery level of the charging case and show when the earbuds are fully topped.
The Marshall Mode II TWS Earbuds is available to order now for US$179, with shipping expected to happen starting March 18, 2021.
