if you are in the market for a larger-than-life TV for your home cinema, you may want to hold out till next month as Mitsubishi has recently announced it will start selling its enormous 92-inch 840 3D DLP Home Cinema TV starting next month. if the Bang & Olufsen’s 85k price tag for its 85-inch plasma is a little too hard to stomach, then the 840 3D DLP TV’s MSRP of $5,999 should be a whole lot easier to digest.

the 840 3D DLP Home Cinema TV is a full HD 1080p TV that uses DLP rear-projection technology, and is capable of displaying 3D content as well. since it uses rear-projection technology, so don’t expect this behemoth to be waffle thin or anything remotely close. though, it is still considerable thin compared to a typical rear-projection TV. if 92-inch is too in-your-face, you be glad to know that it will comes in ‘smaller’ 72-inches and 83-inches models.
the TV also features a 16-speaker sound bar built into the bottom of the TV, four HDMI inputs, Wireless Internet Ready (with optional adapter) and an iPhone Remote Control app (downloadable from the AppStore).
