TikTok did not invent censorship, but it certainly taught an entire generation that the proper response to a drop of blood is to turn it into a blurry patch of pixels. These days, even a paper cut risks looking like classified information.

But what about in real life? Well, while we cannot do anything about disturbing scenes like, God forbid, a terrible accident or blood pouring out of the gut of a person who has been slashed, one Japanese social media user has managed to “censor” small injuries with MOSAIX.
MOSAIX is a bandage that ditches the mundane small, flexible rectangular strip for an adhesive featuring a mosaic pattern in shades of red. When applied, it looks like your cut has been given the mosaic treatment, just like in a video or photo.
if_life_s2 said they thought it would be fun if a bandage had a mosaic pattern, so they made a few in different sizes.
Not going to lie. It looks fun and absolutely surreal at the same time. It’s like being in a video with a bloody injury being censored. It also looks like how an injury would appear in Minecraft.
Anyways, it does not appear to be available to buy.
