Remember the good’ol days of curved-edge displays, curved-edge phones, and those camera modules that looked like they were melting into the back cover? Well, those days are gone. The design gods have spoken, and it’s now all about straight edges, straight lines, and the kind of symmetry that makes phone cases very happy.

Even Motorola is on board with this flat-and-proud movement. Thankfully, for those who still want something that screams Motorola, there’s the new moto g57 power and moto g57. Sure, they’re flat like the rest, but they retain that sleek integrated camera design from the g56, giving them some personality amid the sea of sameness.
The new duo continues Motorola’s trend of bringing solid midrange specs with a dash of unexpected flair. Both phones are the first in the world to rock the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 Mobile Platform, offering faster 5G, lower power consumption, and performance smoother than Spock’s haircut. They also come with up to 24 GB of RAM Boost (yes, twenty-four), so even with twenty Chrome tabs, a game, and a streaming app running, the phones stay calm and collected. Storage options go up to 256 GB, which is more than enough for photos, videos, and regrettable meme downloads.
The real showstopper, though, is the moto g57 power. It packs a massive 7,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, the kind that laughs at charging anxiety. Motorola claims it lasts over two days per charge, and when it’s finally time to refuel, 30 W TurboPower charging gets it going fast. The regular moto g57 isn’t slouching either, with a 5,200 mAh cell that promises up to 47 hours of use. Battery Care even helps extend lifespan by tracking your habits, so you won’t end up with a weak battery before you upgrade to the g58 next year.

On the camera side, both phones feature a 50 MP Sony LYTIA 600 sensor, an 8 MP ultrawide, and an 8 MP selfie camera. Backed by moto ai, the cameras handle all the heavy lifting, automatically fine-tuning brightness, color, and texture for clean, balanced shots. Expect sharper details, better contrast, and skin tones that don’t make you look like you’ve just eaten bad sushi under fluorescent light.
The 6.72-inch FHD+ display runs at 120 Hz and can hit 1,050 nits peak brightness, making it easy to see even under harsh sunlight. Add Dolby Atmos, Hi-Res Audio, and stereo speakers, and you’ve got a pretty solid mobile theater setup. Both phones are also built tough with MIL-STD-810H certification, Gorilla Glass 7i, and IP64 water resistance, meaning they can take a drop, a splash, or an accidental kitchen adventure.
Color options come from Pantone, including classy shades with a soft-touch leather-inspired finish. Both models run Android 16 out of the box, complete with Circle to Search, Google Gemini, and Motorola’s Hello UX experience.
The moto g57 power is now available in Europe for €279, while the moto g57 launches in the Middle East for €249.
