Google dropped three fresh faces: Nest Cam Indoor (3rd gen), Nest Cam Outdoor (2nd gen), and Nest Doorbell (3rd gen). Each rocks 2K HDR video, the widest field of view yet (152 degrees for the cams, 166 degrees for the doorbell), and low-light performance so good, it makes owls jealous.
But the real kicker is Gemini’s brain. Forget plain old “motion detected.” Now you’ll get alerts like, “dog escapes the playpen,” complete with zoomed-in animated previews. Want to know what happened to that vase? Just ask Home, and Gemini will pull the receipts. And with doubled event history (six hours of clips), even your cat’s midnight zoomies are logged like state secrets.

Walmart’s Onn Cameras: Budget AI Spies
Not feeling Nest’s price tag? Walmart’s onn Indoor Camera Wired and Video Doorbell Wired step in with 1080p live view and Gemini smarts. They plug right into the Google Home app, and with a Google Home Premium sub, they get the same intelligent alerts as Nest. Basically, it’s budget AI surveillance, Walmart edition. It is available from Walmart for US$49.86.
Google Home Speaker: Gemini’s Voice Box
This one’s the first audio device built entirely for Gemini, and it’s aiming straight at your living room. The new Google Home Speaker has a glowing light ring that literally shows you when Gemini is “thinking.” It also does balanced 360° audio, stereo pairing, and—finally—cinematic surround sound with Google TV.
Wrapped in 3D-knit recycled yarn and available in Porcelain, Hazel, Jade, and Berry, it looks as chill as it sounds. And yes, there’s a physical mic mute toggle, so you can pretend the robots aren’t eavesdropping. Launches Spring 2026 for US$99.99.
