love the HTC One but think it is a little too ‘small’ for your liking? well, brood no more, cos’ the super-size HTC One max is here to solve your woe with its 5.9-inch Full HD display. not only does the One max offers you a larger display, it decides to go head-to-head with Apple iPhone 5s with its own Fingerprint Scan feature for swift locking and unlocking of the device, though unlike its competition, the fingerprint scanner is located on the back of the handset. HTC’s version of the Fingerprint Scan up the ante by allowing you to quickly launch up to three favorite apps by assigning an individual finger to each. though, no word if this particular fingerprint recognition will be as flexible as the iPhone 5s’.
also powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 chip, clocking in at 1.7GHz, the HTC One max bigger form factor now packs a larger 3,300 mAh battery (also non-removable) so that you can enjoy more of the phone and spend less time at the wall outlet. other features include 2GB of system RAM, 16GB or 32GB onboard storage – expandable (surprise!) via microSD card slot, UltraPixel Camera (BSI, f/2.0, 28mm lens and more) with dedicated HTC ImageChip 2, a 2.1MP front-facing camera with HDR capability, plus the usual bunch of sensors and connectivity such as LTE radios, GPS (+ GLONASS), consumer infrared remote control, WiFi (supports up to ac and Bluetooth 4.0 with aptX enabled, just to name a few.
being an One, it will of course, bears the same awesomeness in the audio reproduction department by the way of HTC BoomSound (dual frontal stereo speakers with built-in amplifiers), along with all the software features that comes with Sense 5.5. to be available only as Glacier Silver, the HTC One max shares the same premium design of the HTC One and will be rolling out across the globe from mid-end October, which should be anytime soon.
