Well, I definitely never saw this coming. We are talking about this Nike collaborative sneakers with, wait for it… Spongebob Squarepants. Cute. You probably heard wind about it if you have been following NBA star, Kyrie Irving, which obviously I don’t. Anyways, yeah, the Nike x Spongebob Squarepants Kyrie Sneaker collection is coming. The collection sees two of Irving’s signature models, Kyrie 5 and Kyrie Low 2, being reimagined to represent the popular Nickelodeon TV show’s main cast.
There are three Nike Kyrie 5s and two Nike Kyrie Low 2. Spongebob, his best friend starfish Patrick Starr and frenemy Squidward Tentacles are on Kyrie 5 while anthropomorphic dive suit-wearing squirrel Sandy Cheeks and Krusty Krab owner Mr. Krabs lends their colors to Kyrie Low 2. The Nike x Spongebob Squarepants Kyrie Sneaker collection is expect to hit stores in August.
