Panasonic has finally entered the TWS category with two new true wireless earbuds with Panasonic RZ-S500W and RZ-S300W. The former is a higher end pair featuring “industry-leading” active noise-canceling technology while the latter does not, but touts a super compact size and long battery life.

Now, if the “industry-leading” noise canceling technology sounds somewhat familiar… well, it is because, the RZ-S500W shares the same ANC tech as Panasonic-owned Technics EAH-AZ70W TWS, which was also announced on the same day.

I would imagine they are pretty much the same, but with different branding. That said, the features are pretty much identical.

As a matter of fact, the RZ-S300W is same, except that it has no noise-canceling. It also differs by having a longer battery life of 7.5 hours and up to 30 hours with the include charging case which offers 3 additional charges.

The Panasonic RZ-S500W True Wireless Earbuds is available now, in a choice of black or white, priced at US$179.99 while the Panasonic RZ-S300W, which comes in black, white or green, sells for US$119.99.
