If you are looking to add another exquisite timepiece to your growing collection of haute horlogerie masterpieces, Parmigiani Fleurier may have just the thing. Parmigiani Fleurier has unveiled the Carillon Tourbillon, an ultra-exclusive anniversary timepiece created to celebrate the Maison’s 30th anniversary.

Limited to just five examples worldwide, the watch serves as both a technical showcase and a tribute to founder Michel Parmigiani’s lifelong dedication to restoration, craftsmanship, and haute horlogerie.
The watch draws inspiration from an early 19th-century Perrin Frères pocket watch from the Sandoz Collection that Parmigiani Fleurier restored in 2000. Rather than reproducing the historic piece, the new Carillon Tourbillon reinterprets its mechanical and acoustic principles, most notably the distinctive serpentine-shaped gongs that define both the watch’s sound and appearance.
Housed in a newly designed 41.6 mm polished 18 ct white gold case, the Carillon Tourbillon features a hand-hammered Morning Blue dial crafted from white gold. Visible on the dial side are the striking hammers and the four serpentine gongs, while the tourbillon and power reserve indicator are displayed on the reverse, reflecting Parmigiani’s philosophy of restrained elegance rather than overt technical showmanship.
At its heart is the new PF950 manual-winding movement, consisting of 456 components. The caliber combines a 60-second tourbillon with a minute repeater carillon featuring four gongs and four distinct notes. The movement incorporates dual barrel systems—one dedicated to timekeeping and another for the striking mechanism—and offers an impressive at least 10-day power reserve. A regulating flywheel ensures the chime remains smooth and evenly paced from the first strike to the last.
The movement is finished with hand-executed mezzo vibrato engraving, a decorative technique inspired by Parmigiani Fleurier’s Objet d’Art creations. The hand-hammered dial, engraved movement, and carefully tuned acoustic architecture are intended to express the Maison’s belief that watchmaking should unite mechanics, artistry, sound, and heritage.
In short, the Parmigiani Fleurier Carillon Tourbillon is not merely an anniversary watch. It is a five-piece mechanical artwork that combines a tourbillon, a four-note minute repeater carillon, and extensive hand craftsmanship into one of the most ambitious creations the independent Swiss manufacture has produced to date.
