Pirelli 44 | Ducati Edition Performance Boat
Ducati has returned to the water with something far removed from its motorcycles. Inspired by the Superleggera V4 Centenario, this limited-edition Pirelli maxi-RIB combines unmistakable Ducati styling with three Mercury Racing outboards, 1,500 hp, and enough exclusivity to make even a superbike seem readily obtainable.

What does a performance motorcycle brand like Ducati have to do with the open seas? Possibly not as much as Mercedes-AMG has done with racing boats. Yet, here we are, witnessing the Pirelli 44 | Ducati Edition Performance Boat. And yes. That’s the tire maker Pirelli, and yes, Ducati now has a boat—well, kind of.

However, this is not the first time Ducati has been in touch with the water. Ducati previously collaborated with Cigarette Racing Team on the 42X Ducati Edition, a racing boat unveiled at the Miami International Boat Show in February 2011. So, the new Pirelli 44 | Ducati Edition is not Ducati’s first branded venture onto the water.

As for Pirelli Speedboats, the tire maker has been dabbling in boats for over 20 years with SACS Marine. Anyhoo, the new Pirelli 44 | Ducati Edition is a limited-edition maxi-RIB developed with Pirelli and SACS Marine to celebrate Ducati’s 100th anniversary. So, it is also not just another boat.

Unveiled at the 2026 Cannes Yachting Festival, the boat takes visual inspiration from the Superleggera V4 Centenario, including a Ducati-designed livery, engine-mounted aerodynamic appendages inspired by MotoGP tail sections, and inflatable tubes featuring a hand-carved pattern based on the Diablo Supercorsa SP motorcycle tire.

Under the hood, the 42.98-foot-long boat features an exclusive triple-engine configuration comprising three 500 hp Mercury Racing outboards, giving the boat a combined 1,500 hp. Other highlights include a double-step hull designed by the Mannerfelt Design Team, a carbon-fiber hardtop, black steel trim, Alcantara upholstery for the dashboard and pilot seats, a commemorative plaque, and a customizable number plate.

Production will be limited to 26 units, referencing Ducati’s founding year of 1926. Pricing and availability were not announced. But now, Ducati enthusiasts who also love the sea know where they can spend that extra money they have tucked under the mattress.
