Porsche fans and coffee lovers, brace yourselves. Porsche has teamed up with Italian espresso machine masters La Marzocco to create a coffee machine that’s as sleek and powerful as their iconic sports cars but without the need for a driver’s license. This limited-edition Linea Micra espresso machine brings café-quality right to your home—unless you’re planning on setting up a pop-up in your garage.
This collaboration has given birth to not just any espresso machine, but one available in two striking designs: the classic Slate Grey Neo, and a Martini Racing version. The latter pays homage to Porsche’s 911 Carrera RSR, because what says “I need my caffeine fix” better than a racing car reference?
Limited to just 911 units (see what they did there?), this machine packs all the heat—literally and metaphorically. Featuring dual boilers, precise PID temperature control, and a steam wand that promises milk frothing so easy that even your cat could try its paw at latte art (please don’t let your cat try that).
And let’s not forget the espresso grinder. Porsche fans get to complete the caffeine pit stop with the Porsche La Marzocco Pico espresso grinder. With its quiet brushless motor and precise grind adjustments, this grinder ensures that every shot is finely tuned—just like a Porsche engine.
The Linea Micra starts at US$6,555 for the Slate Grey Neo version, with the Martini Racing edition priced at US$6,949. I know. The prices are crazy for mortals like us and as such, you’d think it would not fly off the shelves, well, nope. It is sold out—the Martini Racing model, that is. All 911 units of this beautiful espresso machine have been spoken for. The Slate Grey Neo is still available but god knows how many are left.
As a consolation, at least the Slate Grey Neo model’s color matches with the Porsche x La Marzocco Pico Espresso Grinder. Oh, wait. That’s sold out too. Now, I am flabbergasted! How could a US$1,840 machine fly off the shelves just like that? Ugh.
