Bentley is not the only automaker dipping into the world of video games that has nothing to do with racing. Porsche is in it too. The German automaker has lent the Macan design to the most unlikely collab ever: the D.Va from Overwatch 2. So, yeah, Porsche is venturing beyond racing games by partnering with Overwatch 2, aiming to bring its sleek design into the gaming world in an engaging manner.

This collaboration marks Porsche’s entry into a more diverse gaming community, utilizing the backdrop of Overwatch 2‘s rich narratives and character identification.

Highlighting this partnership, a new skin inspired by the all-electric Macan will be introduced for D.Va, a character known for piloting a Mech in the game, and her robot-like Mech. This skin features design elements from the Macan, including its distinctive daytime running lights.

The collaboration was officially announced by Porsche and game developer Blizzard Entertainment at the South by Southwest (SXSW) event which runs from March 8 through to March 17, 2024.

A life-sized Mech statue showcasing this collaboration was also unveiled at South by Southwest, with plans to display it at various events. The new skins inspired the new all-electric Macan for the two of Overwatch 2 most popular characters are set to be available to players later this Spring.
