Japan’s Snow Peak has announced a new razor-thin iPhone 4 case made from a single piece of titanium pressed mold and further hand molded to perfection. as with any good cases, what needs to be accessed are fully accessible. the case is made in Japan which surprises me as most of the accessories these days are made in China but we certainly welcome Japan-built quality. as minimalistic and gorgeous it is, on its website it does some rather odd ‘additional info’ like “this product is made of metal that may degrade performance of radio transceiver” and “use of this product could result in iPhone 4 being scratched.” so are they selling the product or turning us away? i’m baffled.

in anyway, we always appreciate a good case and we certainly swear by Japan’s quality (made in Japan, that is). however, with the material titanium and process such as mold pressed involved, you know its not going to be anywhere near cheap. the Snow Peak iPhone 4 Titanium Cover will set you back at $119.95 and is slated to be available come July.
