when going on a shopping spree, you probably would end up with more receipts than your wallet can handle and that’s where you start misplacing some of them. the good thing is, you can start converting them into digital copies right there, right then with a handy take-everywhere scanner like the SlimScan. touted as the world’s first credit card-sized scanner and boast features like 300 dpi resolution with 24-bit color depth, storage for up to 600 images – what you can scan with the SlimScan is limited by your imagination. for a MSRP of $139.99, the SlimScan comes bundled with a Receipt Management System (RMS) software that, when installed on your computer, allowing you to better manage your receipts. other features include dual function as a memory stick (flash drive), PC connection via USB, build-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery, and multi-language support. the SlimScan supported platforms include Windows XP, Vista, as well as Windows 7. though no indication on whether Mac will be supported in future. check out some closer views after the break.
