Things Can Get Really Bizarre If Luxury Car Brands Made Camper Vans

SUV has been around for ages, but it is until recent years, luxury car brands began diving into the SUV segment. Looking at the trend, these luxury marques could be making MPV, AKA minivan, soon. Or maybe not. But one thing I am sure is, brands like Rolls-Royce, Ferrari, Maybach and the likes won’t be making camper vans, like ever. Why? I don’t know. Perhaps, it just makes zero sense for them to do so. However, someone with a lot of imagination have imagined what if those brands actually did make camper vans and the results are rather bizarre in some cases. This Is A Rare Time That We Are Truly Impressed By A Custom Caravan

When it comes to camper trailer, we can’t say we have seen it all, but for the handful we have saw thus far, the Atomic Camper sure left a deep impression in us and now, we can add the Unity Wagon caravan to our list. Created by Steve Areen, this camper trailer is unlike what you have learned about camper trailer. I mean, one look you know this trailer is fun and has the strong commune vibe to it. In other words, it is inviting. Built on stretched, 5 x 10 trailer with a custom steel structure, Unity Wagon is composed mainly of discarded wood sourced from a mill. Winnebago, the recreation vehicle maker who is better known for crazy-sized RV that can’t go beyond paved roads, now has one that will delight fans of wilderness. Extreme Off-Road Mobile Home: Mercedes-Benz Zetros With Mobile Home Body

you probably have drooled over the custom Zetros of the two Mongolian businessmen and dream of something of sort. well, it looks like the pointed star marque takes heed and has officially, pulled the bed off the Mercedes-Benz Zetros truck and slapped a mobile home onto it that will provide you with another type of bed – one which you can sleep on. so yes. we are talking about a Zetros-based motor home (or RV, if you prefer), which is currently showing off its stuff at Europe’s leading trade fair for recreational vehicles, the Caravan Show in Düsseldorf. what the Zetros with Mobile Home offers is the extreme off-road capability of a Unimog, but with the load-carrying capacity of a heavy truck. like the Unimog, the Zetros has a cab-behind-engine configuration, which makes for a spacious cab that is not too towering and thus facilitates easy ingress and egress. MINI Getaway Cars: Camper, Cowley and ALL4 Camp

MINI isn’t the car anyone would associate with a camping adventure, but that doesn’t discourage the German-own British automaker to propose you do so with their MINIs. these getaway concepts are not new. we have seen one such example, the MINI Clubvan Concept, last year but since there ain’t no new cars to show off, why not reiterate that your tiny MINI could do more in the adventure department? three concepts are being put forward: the MINI Clubvan Camper, the MINI Cowley, and the MINI Countryman ALL4 Camp. in fact, we have seen the latter before too, but the latest iteration comes with a more generous room. the Clubvan Camper is billed as the world’s smallest luxury camper van (and we have no reason to doubt it) and is packed with practical amenities for an ideal weekend getaway. the MINI Cowley is a compact caravan designed for two and is pretty well-equipped with stuff like a twin-ring gas stove, fridge, as well as a sink – all you need is to stock the fridge with what you need. honestly, we are not a fan of camping in the wilderness cos’ we don’t like the idea of piloting a huge camper across the country and plus, we are not as comfortable with large vehicles as we are with small compacts. that’s where the MINI Clubvan Concept, a MINI with a specially designed caravan in tow, will fill the gap. the Cowley caravan, as it is called, has everything you will need for your next pit stop in the wilderness, including a twin sleeping berth, a twin-burner gas stove, a water tank complete with pump and dish washing facility, a solar module for juicing up the onboard battery and a 230-volt power supply to power the fridge, TV/DVD and HiFi stereo system.
