I Bet You Never Thought A 64’ Lincoln Continental Could Look This Cool

There are many classic American cars still being loved. Some of them even modded to an outlandish proportion. Not this one though. Not this 1964 Lincoln Continental Convertible. The thing with Lincoln Conti is, it is not for everyone. You either love it or you hate it. There’s no in between, but I am very sure this pristine example here will only get nothing but love. Man, just look at it. IT IS SLAMMED! And draped in modern day car customizers’ favorite: matte wrap. Continue reading I Bet You Never Thought A 64’ Lincoln Continental Could Look This Cool

Image: A Red Porsche 911 Targa 4 GTS, The 999,999th, Rolls From The Line

It was a milestone, a historical event that has no grand ceremony, but this was it; the 999,999th Porsche 911 to roll from the line before the one millionth in the series and it was treated to a shiny coat of red paint job as opposed to the green the rest had before it. This very special Porsche 911 is destined for Canada where one lucky owner by the name of Rob Tenuta, a fifty-one-year-old contractor from Woodbridge in Ontario, is the proud owner and clearly, Rob is more than thrilled. The 999,999th Porsche 911 is Rob’s third Porsche. Prior to this ride, he already have had a Cayman in 2006 and a 911 Turbo in 2011. A special ride for a dedicated fan indeed. Mazda’s classy MX-5, otherwise known as Miata in its Japan home turf, is pretty, but it hardly stacks up to the exotic roadsters. However, things for this pocket roadster takes a turn at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas earlier this month. The Japanese automaker showcased two head-turning MX-5 based on the all-new, SKYACTIV Technology-driven 2016 MX-5 Miata, called MX-5 Spyder and MX-5 Speedster, and boy do they look brilliant. Rolls-Royce Announces a New Dawn for Super-luxury Motoring. No, Seriously. It’s Called ‘Dawn’

The images you see is not the recently announced droptop from Rolls-Royce, though we hope very much that it will bear at least a tint of that sexy throwback design. The example you see here is the Silver Dawn, introduced in 1949 and used on 28 drophead bodies in the 50s. Loyal Rolls-Royce may also noted the departure from the usual supernatural naming, but the press release clearly reasoned that it is car “with a name that suggests the fresh opportunities that every new day holds – an awakening, an opening up of one’s senses and a burst of sunshine.” Well, in that case, we will take as the reason for a drophead as oppose to say, a coupe. While supernatural names sound cool, they are mostly reference to death and no automakers wish for that. Continue reading Rolls-Royce Announces a New Dawn for Super-luxury Motoring. No, Seriously. Ultima’s Latest Supercar Packs a Mighty 1,020HP, Makes 0-60 MPH in 2.3s

Gone were the days where high horsepower is the name of the game. Yes. Powerful cars are still around, but just not as crazy it was when fuel economy wasn’t a prime concern. So, it is a kind of heart warming to know that British independent sports car maker, Ultima Sports Ltd, is still turning up cars with pretty insane ponies. Evolution is the latest rocket that is set to replace the outgoing GTR and it will be offered in coupe and convertible form. Sticking to timeless Le Mans Group C-inspired body shape, the Ultima Evolution gets its power from a fuel injected Chevy LS V8 block. But don’t be dismayed by the Chevy engine because it can do wonder in the hands of the Brits. For starter, how does 15 different power level options that starts at a ‘modest’ 350 hp and topping out at 1,020 hp sounds to you? I know. Sounds like music to the ears, right? Honda’s Tiny Drop-top Sports Car, S660, is Available Now in Japan for 1.98M Yen

First seen in 2013 at the Tokyo Motor Show as a concept, the “kei” size sports car from the H badge automaker is finally available, albeit only in the Land of the Rising sun. The S660 picks up where the iconic Beat left off and continues the path of the kei car, which limits its physical size to within 3.4m by 1.48m and no taller than 2m. Engine and power are also limited too, to 660cc and 47kW or 63 horsepower, respectively. Naturally, the S660 conforms to all of the parameters of a kei car, just like the Pininfarina-designed Beat, which means this two-seater convertible is far from a S2000 or NSX competitor; it is simply an “exotic” ride designed for fun driving. Nissan Introduces 370Z NISMO Roadster Concept and Front-wheel-drive GT-R LM NISMO Racer

Lately, Nissan has NISMO-fied a number of models in its lineup. We have seen NISMO treatment on more performance-orientated vehicle like the GT-R and hardtop 370Z, and ‘softer’ rides like Juke, Sentra and even the Pulsar. So it is not surprising that the Japanese automaker is also toying with the idea of NISMO-fying the droptop 370Z, which it has unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show on February 12. Nissan refers the 370Z Roadster Concept a one-off design study that combines the thrill of open-air motoring and the racing-inspired style and performance of a 370Z NISMO coupe.
