Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster: It’s An Electric Acoustic Telecaster! ’nuff Said

The glitz and glamor of a rock star is one thing, the hassle of switching guitars for acoustic and electric sound is another. I tell you what: keep the glitz and glamor, but skip the guitar switching with this: Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster. Yes, it is an electric acoustic stringed axe, but this ain’t no ordinary electric acoustic. It is the perfect hybrid of an acoustic and Fender’s iconic Telecaster which is, in Fender’s own words, “an entirely new instrument that blurs the lines between acoustic and electric guitars.” Continue reading Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster: It’s An Electric Acoustic Telecaster! ’nuff Said

KLOS Guitars 2.0: A Carbon Fiber Travel Guitar That Can Take The Beatings

Traveling musicians with a guitar on their back looks cool, but what these people didn’t tell you is, how their lovely instrument is susceptible to damage while on-the-road and that’s not to mention that it is cumbersome as hell. These nagging issues relating to traveling with guitar gave birth to (probably) the first hybrid carbon fiber body/wood neck guitar called KLOS Guitar. The guitar, which sports a less bulky form than traditional acoustic guitar, hits Kickstarter last year. A year on, the brothers behind KLOS Guitar, Ian and Adam Klosowiak, is back with a second version that is said to be lighter, stronger and even better sounding. Cardboard Fender Stratocaster Looks As Awesome As It Sounds

We have seen a myriad of stuff made out of cardboard, including a bicycle and even a car. So, it seems like nothing is impossible for cardboard, right? Well, for regular folks, cardboard will be cardboard and it has got to have some limits, but as far as Ernest Packaging is concerned, that statement holds true. If creating a snowboard, a skateboard and even a surfboard out of cardboard aren’t enough to prove the point that paper can create anything, perhaps, the company’s latest creation, a cardboard-based Fender Stratocaster guitar, would serve to reinforced the notion that paper can be made into anything if you have the expertise and willingness to try. Molten Lava Diabolical Guitar Has Glowing Lava That Look So Hot And Cool At The Same Time

Don’t be alarmed. The Molten Diabolic Guitar by Hutchinson Guitar Concepts you see here is not actually forged from real molten lava, so as hot as it looks, you will only look uber cool shredding it. Hell, you will look cool even without the need to do anything. However, if the town of Tristram beneath did have heavy metal bands, this would no doubt be the guitar of choice and it would probably be made from hell’s fire spewed out of Satan’s lair. Though, it probably won’t be based on a Ibanez Mahogany body guitar like the Molten Diabolic Guitar did. So, the sound should be pretty sweet. Though, it can’t be helped if Ibanez ain’t your cuppa. In fact, it wasn’t even upcycled from an old deck; it is built out of a blank skateboard deck, decked out with the requisite electric guitar components like a 1/4-inch output jack, tremolo, an electric guitar bridge, a lone guitar pick up, a volume knob, a lock nut, six tuning pegs and a set of six guitar strings.
