North Minneapolis Opens First Public Natural Swimming Pool in the U.S.

I have developed a fear for natural water bodies like lakes and rivers after my teen years, thanks to the horde of horror flicks like Lake Placid, Piranha and even Creepshow 2 (second story ‘The Raft’), that flooded the B-grade movies catalog. I know, it is probably an irrational fear, but hey, I don’t live in the U.S. which makes the whole monster-in-the-lake tale even more ‘plausible’, right? But now, I know if I did live in Minneapolis, I will have the opportunity to swim in natural waters without that fear – thanks to the Webber Park Natural Swimming Pool. CAMOPOOL Camouflage Inflatable Pool

you know those aboveground inflatable pools? how are those looking too you? too unmanly, perhaps? then may we suggest you to check out the CAMOPOOL Inflatable Pool and as the product name implies, it is the inflatable pool you know, in camouflage. man, we can’t believe nobody thought of camo-ing this until now. basically, instead of the usual blue items that are sometime adorned with cartoon characters such as Nemo and stuff, the CAMOPOOL Inflatable Pool comes in an ever man-friendly camo pattern. it has a triple ring design for better side wall support and the skin is of heavy duty 0.5mm PVC material that is said to be two times stronger than standard inflatable pools. Tonke Campers

the Airstream trailer has an irresistible old school charm, but what if you don’t want to having anything in tow and a motor coach is way too, well, typical to your liking? then the Tonke Campers might just by right up your alley. in a wonderful matrimony of the old and the new, the Tonke Campers features a cart-style camper, fused to the chassis of a modern day Mercedes-Benz truck that leaves us in awe and wanting one. of course, we have no room for such a beauty here, but for you guys who do, we envy you. we never thought retro styling could ever go with the contemporary (if only they could do the same for the new Unimog). anyhow, there are two series to choose from: the smaller Explorer series and the roomier Fieldsleeper series, and in between them are four specific models, each having their own unique amenities. it is the time of the year again, a time where you take your cooking to your backyard and have a blast with the people you care about. however, most of the time, we do so with quite an amount of risk, especially when BBQ-ing. you know, the burn from the heat and the stabs from the skewers et cetera. you may be one of the few that escapes the stabs and pokes unleashed by your skewers but one thing you will still nod in agreement is the process of dislodging the delicious meat from a skewer is no easy feat. a picnic can be a refreshing break from the hustle and bustle of big city living but then again, why should we be treating ourselves to sandwich that we have been eating all this while in the office? kind of sucks, don’t you think so? what we need is some real meat that form part of our burger loving culture and when we say burgers, we mean freshly grilled meat slapped between two pieces of nice, soft buns and not those shrink wrapped cold, crumpled items that you grab off the shelves of 7-11.
